Over the past decade, healthtech has become a rapidly growing innovation, designed to provide quality care across patient demographics. From virtual nursing to bridging gaps in clinician coverage, the usage of technology brings about great advancements in healthcare. Partnerships across healthtech groups have been shown to bring about even better patient care results, as we combine tools to drive healthcare. At Omnicure, we believe such collaborations are essential to healthcare growth.
Our current partnership with Sickbay reflects this mission. Sickbay is an FDA-Cleared clinical platform that provides hospitals with streaming patient monitoring data. This data is then analyzed and utilized by clinicians, researchers, and hospital administration.[1] Through our partnership, clinicians can launch Sickbay via Omnicure’s platform for bedside data down to the millisecond. Coupled with our easy access to virtual specialists, this collaboration allows for simplified decision-making during critical times. By unifying virtual specialist access with streaming data from the bedside, clinical teams are able to make smarter decisions and prioritize patient care. As a result, doctors are able to detect potential health risks sooner and identify trends across patient conditions. Plus, our platforms are mobile-friendly, enhancing efficiency and streamlining communication across care providers.
Together, Omnicure and Sickbay are designing a platform to strengthen tele-critical care across all hospitals with data-driven insights. As we continue to work as partners, we hope to bring about improved outcomes for patients in all hospital settings, anywhere and anytime.
