# WHO WE SERVE

## Supporting Clinicians and Improving Patient Care

Omnicure was founded to address the critical deficiencies of legacy Tele-ICU systems, and to lower the barriers for implementation of Tele-Critical Care. Our solution and services support hospitals, health systems, physician groups, and government.

## Hospitals

Omnicure serves a wide variety of hospitals, from large urban facilities to rural sites including critical access hospitals.

Many rural hospitals have extremely limited access to specialists. As a partner in [rural health transformation](/rural-hospital-telemedicine), our solution provides direct access to specialists, allowing critical access hospitals to more effectively keep patients local, and enabling access to intensivist care for challenging cases during times when transfers are delayed or not possible.

Some hospitals in urban and suburban areas lack coverage at night. Our telemedicine solution can cover any gaps—we provide the software, and can also provide intensivist support.

## Health Systems

Health systems use our comprehensive software platform to leverage their own internal physician resources.

With Omnicure, a health system can develop its own [Tele-ICU program](/tele-icu) and enable their in-house intensivists and specialists to support as many satellite facilities as needed.

## Physician Groups

Physician groups that serve multiple hospitals need to reach their sites in the most streamlined and effective manner possible.

Using Omnicure, physician groups have a comprehensive software solution that is cost-effective and practical both for themselves and their client hospitals.

## Government

Omnicure is partnered with the federal government for the [National Emergency Tele-Critical Care Network (NETCCN)](https://www.tatrc.org/netccn/) project. NETCCN addresses critical care clinician and resource shortages throughout the United States in response to disasters.

During Covid-19 surges, Omnicure rapidly deployed clinical care teams to facilitate Tele-ICU support to 35 hospitals in 9 states and 1 US territory as part of NETCCN.
